“After suffering addiction for over a decade without knowing recovery was possible, I finally found recovery in 2018! Since then I have had 2 children, got married, got a house and found peace of mind and love life.

I’m passionate about helping people get into recovery and change there lives around for the better so this charity First Step Recovery was set up to help people in our area not to have to suffer in addiction, but live a great life in recovery!

If I can give anybody even a little bit of what recovery has given me it’s a job well done. Finding recovery is the best thing I have ever done and the aim is to help people find the same as what I’ve got or even more!“
