Location: Bloxwich, West Midlands
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temporary contract until April 2027, with the possibility of extension

About The Role

First Step Recovery is looking for a committed, experienced and compassionate Centre Manager to lead our addiction recovery centre in Bloxwich. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals affected by addiction and who can provide strong leadership within a recovery-focused environment. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for service users and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership and management of the centre and its team. Oversee the day-today operation of the service, ensuring it runs safely and effectively. Support and motivate staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred recovery services. Ensure policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements are followed. Promote a positive, recovery-focused culture within the centre. Build effective relationships with service users, families, partner organisations and external agencies. Monitor service quality, performance and outcomes. Manage and respond appropriately to any operational or safeguarding concerns. Contribute to service development and continuous improvement. Ensure the centre provides a professional, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

Has experience in a management or leadership role, ideally within addiction, recovery, mental health, social care or a related setting. Has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by people affected by substance misuse. Is confident managing and supporting a team. Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Can work effectively with a range of professionals and partner agencies. Is compassionate, approachable and committed to person-centred care. Can demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to manage challenging situations. Is committed to safeguarding, confidentiality, equality and professional standards.
