Welcome To First Step Recovery

Take your first step to recovery!

FIRST STEP RECOVERY

At FIRST STEP RECOVERY our mission is to create a safe, respectful community in the Walsall area based in Bloxwich for Walsall and all surrounding areas for people facing substance misuse and addiction – relieving poverty, sickness and distress.

Through our person centred approach, our charity is ran by service users who have been in similar situations themselves, with many years experience in active addiction and have all found a new way to live life in recovery. We not only want to save lives but change lives for the better.

We believe ‘change is possible’ and we understand the impact of recovery on an individual’s life, family life and society as a whole, is limitless.

Working in collaboration with a wide network of local community organisations we can help provide new coping skills and life skills to lead a better life.

🔹 Peer support network
🔹 Solution focused workshops
🔹 Safe environment
🔹 Outreach work
🔹 Introductions to local support groups
🔹 Inter-agency support
🔹 Awareness and preventative talks in schools and the community
🔹 Family support
🔹 Food and clothing bank
🔹 Hope, that change is possible

If you or your loved one is facing substance misuse or addiction – we are here to help.

Please get in touch today by visiting our Contact Us page!
